Mrs. Butlerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what is the position in each colonial and Trust Territory and Protectorate with regard to the minimum ages for paid employment for boys and girls, provisions for part-time employment with or without attendance at school, the number of children under 14 years of age employed in part-time or full-time work, the maximum hours of labour under 14 years of age or other specified ages, applied in each case to each sex, respectively, the minimum wages paid to either sex, and the industries in each territory in which children may be employed, and regulations governing their employment, respectively.
