HC Deb 12 February 1957 vol 564 cc153-4W
Captain Kerby

asked the President of the Board of Trade what is the present circulation of "Target"; what charge is made to recipients; and why the cost of production is not offset by a charge for advertisements.

Sir D. Eccles

The circulation of "Target" is 70,000 copies; it is distributed free on request. Advertisements are not accepted because it is felt that a publication of this kind should not compete with the trade and technical Press for advertising.
