HC Deb 12 February 1957 vol 564 c151W
4. Mr. Russell

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works, as representing the Lord President of the Council, if he will have a survey made of the deposits of non-ferrous metals in Britain.

Mr. Nicholls

I would refer my hon. Friend to the Answer I gave the hon. Member for Morpeth (Mr. Owen) on 4th February. I might add that some forty of the Geological Survey's Special Reports have dealt with mineral resources other than coal and ironstone. The most recent was "The Metalliferous Deposits of South-West England", published in 1956.
