§ 4. Mr. Russellasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works, as representing the Lord President of the Council, if he will have a survey made of the deposits of non-ferrous metals in Britain.
§ Mr. NichollsI would refer my hon. Friend to the Answer I gave the hon. Member for Morpeth (Mr. Owen) on 4th February. I might add that some forty of the Geological Survey's Special Reports have dealt with mineral resources other than coal and ironstone. The most recent was "The Metalliferous Deposits of South-West England", published in 1956.
