HC Deb 11 February 1957 vol 564 cc125-6W
63. Mr. Younger

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to what extent Her Majesty's Government still adhere to the Tripartite Declaration of 1950, either in its original form or with modifications; and to what extent Her Majesty's Government's policy in this respect is in accord with that of the other two signatories to the Declaration.

Mr. Selwyn Lloyd

In reply to the first part of the Question, I would refer the right hon. Gentleman to the Answer which my right hon. and gallant Friend the Minister of State gave to the right hon. Member for Blyth (Mr. Robens) on 19th November.

As regards the second part of the Question, Her Majesty's Government have not received any notification from the United States or French Governments that their policy with regard to the Tripartite Declaration has changed.
