§ 55. Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what consultations he has had with the Government of Israel regarding occupation by the United Nations of the gun sites at the entrance to the Gulf of Aqaba.
§ Mr. Selwyn LloydNone. The Israel Government have, of course, explained their views on freedom of navigation in the Gulf of Aqaba to Her Majesty's Government and other Governments represented in the United Nations, and Her Majesty's Government have explained their attitude to the Israel Government.
