asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what countries technical assistance is given under the Expanded Technical Assistance programme of the United Nations; how much is the amount in each case; and for what purposes.

Member will find full details of the technical assistance to be given to ninety-eight countries under the Expanded Technical Assistance Programme in 1957, together with the figures for expenditure in these countries in 1955 and 1956, in United Nations document E/TAC/L.115 of 16th November, 1956, which is available in the Library of the House.
