Mr. Sydney Irving

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what the basis for compensation will be to owner-occupiers of houses required to be demolished under the Dartford Tunnel Scheme.

Mr. Watkinson

The basis for compensation will be that laid down in Part V of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1947, and Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1954.
