§ Mr. GodberHome prices have been affected recently by fluctuations in the world price of sugar due mainly to the disappearance of the surpluses which have existed in recent years. Supplies of sugar for home consumption in 1957 should be ample: there has been a good beet crop and our Commonwealth supplies are assured under the Commonwealth Sugar Agreement.
