Mr. Hurdasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if, in order to remove misunderstandings, he will publish the scientific evidence from which his Department deduced that more than half the outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease in Great Britain during the past two years were attributable to meat from South America.
§ Mr. GodberWe collect all the information we can having a bearing on the origin of each outbreak and attribute it to some source where the circumstantial evidence appears to justify it. I shall be happy to send my hon. Friend particulars of some typical cases.
