HC Deb 11 December 1957 vol 579 cc129-30W
80. Mr. Beswick

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he has now been able to consider the petition, signed by over 9,000 Yiewsley and West Drayton citizens, regarding the urgent need to deal with the danger to pedestrians caused by the present structure of the railway bridge at Yiewsley over road A408; and when the road authority will begin on the necessary improvements to avoid this danger.

Mr. Nugent

We have considered this petition and will certainly bear in mind the claims of this bridge in planning the major improvement programme for next year.
