§ Mr. Ormsby-GoreAnnual contributions to the United Nations Refugee Fund have only been made since 1955, when the High Commissioner's present resettlement programme began. To this programme Her Majesty's Government have contributed annually £80,000 outright and an additional £20,000 provided that contributions from Governments reached a total of $3.25 million. This condition was fulfilled in 1956 but not in 1955.
