§ Mr. GodberImprovement schemes already approved for roads in Welsh upland areas cover 107 miles at an estimated cost of some £270,000. The Ministry's Welsh Department is doing everything possible to expedite approval of schemes submitted by highway authorities, within the limits imposed by the general economic situation.
