asked the Minister of Labour if he will state the latest available figures of persons who, because of industrial injury or disease, are unable to follow their normal occupation, but would be able to work in alternative occupation, and are now unemployed in the division of Chester-le-Street.

Of the 16 unemployed registered disabled persons in the Chester-le-Street division whose disablement results from industrial injury or disease, 15 are unable to follow their normal occupation and are registered for alternative, employment. Two of these were due to start work on 2nd December.
