Grimstonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will state the aggregate amount of Government grant payable to rural district councils under the Rural Water Supplies and Sewerage Acts, 1944 to 1955, in respect of schemes approved between 1st April, 1950, and the latest convenient date.
§ Mr. H. Brooke:Undertakings to pay grants amounting, in capital value, to just over £31 million have been given for schemes approved in the period 1st April, 1950, to 31st March, 1957.
