§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe tests will be so arranged as to avoid danger to persons or property in any of these islands or other inhabited areas of the Pacific. The explosions will take place far from any inhabited islands and will be high air-bursts which will not involve heavy fallout or contamination of fish. Full safety precautions are being taken to ensure that firing will not be carried out under any conditions in which inhabited islands might be affected by radioactive material.
