§ Mr. WatkinsonThe eight schemes referred to have been authorised. Work has started on Page Street to Mill Hill, Middlesex (widening), Alconbury Hill to Woolpack Cross Roads, Huntingdonshire (widening) and on East Retford By-pass (Elkesley to Five Lanes End). The remaining five schemes have been delayed for procedural reasons, but they are being pressed forward urgently.
