HC Deb 17 April 1957 vol 568 c202W
64. Mr. Sorensen

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, in view of the fact that the official or the nominated members of the Legislature of British Guiana will not introduce a motion to propose membership of the Caribbean Federation, what facilities will be provided for elected members to do so.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

There will be nothing to prevent elected members from introducing such a motion, but I would invite the hon. Member's attention to the final paragraph of the reply which I gave to him on 13th March.
