HC Deb 10 April 1957 vol 568 c135W
96. Captain Orr

asked the Postmaster-General when he expects to receive the report of the outside organisation which was commissioned by him to make a special inquiry into the methods of handling mail in Post Office sorting offices.

Mr. Marples

I have now received the report. It confirms us in the special attention which is being given to the mechanisation of sorting and makes a number of other suggestions which will be the subject of experiment.
