HC Deb 10 April 1957 vol 568 cc135-6W
97. Mr. Short

asked the Postmaster-General what representations he has received from the British Broadcasting Corporation concerning public opinion in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Belfast regarding the shared wavelength serving those cities.

Mr. Marples

None: but, as I have said before, I am aware of the feelings that exist, and that is why V.H.F. stations at Pontop Pike and Divis have been provided.
