asked the Secretary of State for Air whether the airbase at Akrotiri is now complete; and whether other airfields are to be built in Cyprus.

Certain work has still to be completed at Akrotiri, but the airfield is fully operational. There is no present intention of constructing other airfields in Cyprus.
