Mr. G. M. Thomson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what percentage of pupils of secondary school age are in senior secondary courses for each of the education authorities in Scotland.

The following table shows for each education authority area at 16th January, 1956 (the latest date for which the figures are available), the percentage of pupils who were following senior secondary courses in relation to the total number of pupils in junior and senior secondary schools.
