§ Mr. de Freitasasked the Secretary of State for Air why a citizen of London serving in the Royal Air Force in the Lincolnshire area can obtain a weekend furlough return ticket to London for 20s. but a citizen of Lincoln serving in the London area has to pay 29s. 6d. for a return ticket to Lincoln covering the same period.
Mr. WardI can only assume that the two journeys were not comparable, but if the hon. Member will let me know the stations between which the airmen travelled I will have the charges checked.
