asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what traffic control and safety precautions he is proposing to take to safeguard the junctions of the new Borrowash, Derbyshire, bypass road and Lodge Lane. Borrowash Road, Victoria Road and Cole Lane.

At most of these junctions it is proposed to erect "SLOW —MAJOR ROAD AHEAD" signs on the minor roads, but at one or possibly two, where visibility on both roads is somewhat restricted, it may be necessary to erect "HALT" signs on the minor roads. The task of motorists in crossing the road will be much eased by the wide central reservation.
