63. Air Commodore Harveyasked the Postmaster-General what steps he is taking to provide an improved postal service in the W.C.2 area to remedy the complaints which have already been sent to him in this connection.
§ Mr. AlportWhile some measures have already been taken to improve the postal services in the W.C. district, particularly with regard to the recruitment of additional staff, I fully recognise the existence of the difficulties to which my hon. and gallant Friend has drawn my attention. We are considering further special measures which may, we hope, assist in their solution. I will write to him as soon as possible.
