§ 77. Mr. A. Hendersonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will instruct Her Majesty's Government's representative on the Security Council to propose that a United Nations Commission of Inquiry be appointed to investigate the problem of border incidents in the Middle East.
§ Mr. NuttingI do not consider such a commission is called for in view of the existence of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organisation, and of the special mandate given to the United Nations Secretary-General in the Security Council resolutions of 4th April and 4th June.
