§ Sir D. EcclesForty-seven teachers called up as reservists have come to the notice of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and myself. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War and I are in general prepared to consider applications for re-transfer to the Reserve of teachers of mathematics and science in secondary schools and of other teachers who are urgently needed in the schools. Nearly all such applications have been granted.
