§ Sir F. Markhamasked the Prime Minister if he will give a full list of all treaties, agreements or pacts under which Great Britain is under obligation to provide military assistance in certain circumstances and also add particulars as to which areas these treaties would or do apply.

Lists of the bilateral and multilateral treaties of alliance and pacts of mutual defence to which Her Majesty's Government are parties were circulated in the OFFICIAL REPORT on 14th May in answer to a Question by the hon. Member for Bradford, South (Mr. George Craddock).
In addition there is the non-reciprocal Special Agreement of 4th April, 1955, between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of Iraq, by which the Government of the United Kingdom undertook to provide military assistance for Iraq in the event of an armed attack.
