§ 67. Mr. Marquandasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance what additional charge he estimates will fall upon the National Assistance Board as a result of increased charges for prescriptions under the National Health Service.
§ Miss PittOn the basis of the number of refunds made last year, the additional cost of Assistance grants would be about £320,000 in a full year. So far as any additional expenditure is concerned, I would refer the right hon. Gentleman to the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health to the hon. Member for Abertillery (The Rev. LI. Williams) on 12th November.
