Mr. H. MacmllianRecent events in the Middle East are now expected to reduce by some £5 million the Service Departments' contribution to the savings of £93¼ million so far announced. As my right hon. Friend stated in the debate on 12th November, additional expenditure in this financial year on the military arrangements will be between £35 million and £50 million.
