§ 59. Mr. Wadeasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what new proposals Her Majesty's Government has put forward since 1954 for the setting up of a permanent international police force.
§ Mr. Ormsby-GoreNone. I would refer the House to the reply which ray hon. Friend gave to the hon. Member for Wembley, South (Mr. Russell) on 14th November. I think that this gave sufficient information to enable hon. Members to judge for themselves why Her Majesty's Government did not after 1954 put forward any new proposals for setting up a permanent international police force.
