§ 84. Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty what progress has been made with the clearing of the Suez Canal.
Mr. WardOne wreck has already been lifted clear of the proposed channel and the clearance forces are at present concentrating on making other wrecks ready for lifting. Surveys are being made of further wrecks. On shore the workshops of the Suez Canal Company are being made serviceable.
