§ 67. Mr. Pageasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will notify the United Nations organisation that Her Majesty's Government proposes to instruct its salvage fleet to clear the Suez Canal of blockages; that it expects the protection of the United Nations forces in carrying out that operation; and that if such protection is not forthcoming within 48 hours Her Majesty's forces will provide that protection themselves.
