§ Miss Hornsby-SmithThe gross expenditure on the Service for England and Wales provided for in the current year's Estimates as submitted to Parliament is £515,225,225. There are no national health contributions but an estimated £36,370,000 will be defrayed by a transfer from the National Insurance Fund.
