§ Sir D. EcclesUp to the end of last month about 1,730,000 new places had been brought into use, of which 1,020,000 were primary places and 710,000 secondary places. About 200,000 of the secondary places, including 170,000 in H.O.R.S.A. huts, are known not to be of permanent construction.
