HC Deb 13 November 1956 vol 560 c13W
21. Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Works what action he proposes to take to clear Bushy Park of dead and fallen trees and of derelict war-time buildings; and how many new trees he proposes to plant this coming winter.

Mr. Buchan-Hepburn

Only two fallen trees remain and these will be removed this week. There are some roots of fallen trees still in the ground and a few dead trees in the avenues which will be removed during the winter. About 300 trees will be planted during the coming winter.

I propose to start clearing the remains of the derelict war-time camps as soon as funds are available.
