§ Sir D. EcclesI have included a project for a complete technical college at Welwyn in the building programme approved for the Hertfordshire local education authority for 1957–58. This will cost about £250,000, and will provide laboratories, workshops and classrooms for science and engineering, as well as rooms for craft, commerce, non-specialist, administrative and communal purposes.
