§ Mr. WatkinsonI understand that the twelve members of the crew are remaining on board during the discharge of the cargo. The vessel is still Russian-owned and flying the Russian flag.
§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he will make a statement on the circumstances 46W attending the stranding near Aberdeen recently of the Russian cargo steamer "Krymov" and the rescue and repatriation of her crew.
§ Mr. WatkinsonThe "Krymov," bound for Aberdeen from Latvia, stranded in poor visibility four miles north of Aberdeen Harbour at about 8 p.m. on 18th March. The assistance of the coastguard and the Aberdeen lifeboat was declined. Twenty-two members of the crew have since joined the Russian ship "Kooperatzia" at Hull. I understand that the remaining twelve are staying on board the ship while the ship and her cargo are being salvaged.
