HC Deb 02 May 1956 vol 552 c45W
84. Mr. Hector Hughes

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he is aware that two ships, the British ship "Sturdee" and the Russian ship "Krymov", were recently stranded and lost near Aberdeen; and what steps he is taking towards the provision of the latest types of warnings at harbour entrances to obviate such happenings.

Mr. Watkinson

There is no evidence that either of these incidents is to be attributed to a lack of navigational aids at the harbour entrance.
