§ Mr. WatkinsonApproximately 450 square yards of land will be required for 187W the roundabout and the estimated cost of land acquisition and accommodation works is £650. The estimated cost of construction work is £14,000.
The simplest form of signal installation would cost £1,500 initially and £100 per annum to maintain, but owing to the traffic conditions at this junction signal control would not be a satisfactory alternative to a roundabout.
