§ Mr. Ellis Smithasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware of the difficulties experienced by skilled engineers in obtaining suitable tools; and if he will see that quality steel is in ample supply for all tool needs, and that the quota of measuring rules is sufficient to meet all requirements.
§ Mr. P. ThorneycroftI am not aware of such difficulties. Deliveries of tool steel were much larger in 1955 than in 1954 and are still increasing. There is no quota for measuring rules.
