44. Dr. Bennettasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether the objections by the water undertaking and others to the draft order for the restoration of the road between Fareham and Lee-on-Solent have now been met or withdrawn; and what progress has been made since December last.
§ Mr. MolsonI am glad to say that the objection from a local resident to which I referred in my Answer to my hon. Friend of 21st December has been withdrawn. I am informed that the negotiations between the Admiralty and the statutory undertakers are nearing finality.
