Mr. AmoryI am greatly indebted to the Welsh Sub-Commission for its Report on the Monmouthshire Moors, and I accept its conclusion that it is not necessary for me to exercise my powers of compulsory purchase, or hiring under Section 84 of the Agriculture Act. I agree with the general body of its recommendations which will be followed up with the authorities concerned, but I cannot see my way to accepting those relating to the green lanes in present circumstances.
