HL Deb 07 March 1956 vol 196 cc217-8WA
LORD AMHERST OF HACKNEY

asked Her Majesty's Government whether the Forestry Commissioners have yet received the Report of the Committee on Hedgerow and Farm Timber.

THE JOINT PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, FISHERIES AND FOOD (EARL ST. ALDWYN)

Yes, my Lords. The report will be on sale to-morrow and copies will be available in the Printed Paper Office. Her Majesty's Government is most grateful to the Chairman, the noble Lord, Lord Merthyr, and the members of the Committee for the time and thought they have devoted to this important subject. Their recommendations will receive most careful consideration by Ministers and by the Forestry Commissioners.

House adjourned at seventeen minutes before eight o'clock.
