§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI took the opportunity of my return journey from Cyprus to pay a brief visit to Malta where I had conversations on the present situation with the Governor, the Archbishop of Malta, the Maltese Prime Minister and local political leaders. My visit was necessarily brief. I accepted the Maltese Prime Minister's suggestion that he should come to London as soon as he had recovered from his indisposition.
