§ Mr. J. Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is aware that there is anxiety in Mauritius over the delay in announcing any decision of the constitutional talks of 1955 in London; and whether he will give an assurance that the system of a single non-transferable vote will be used in future elections as is the practice in the United Kingdom and Colonial Territories.
