§ Mr. Kerrasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what proposals he has for establishing a new veterinary investigation centre at Cambridge.
Mr. AmoryA Veterinary Investigation Centre at Cambridge has been maintained for many years, but new premises are necessary and both the University and I are anxious that the Centre should be moved alongside the University Veterinary School which has recently been opened. Thanks to a gift of £10,000 as a contribution to the cost it will be possible to erect a building for the Veterinary Investigation Centre on the School site adjacent to and in keeping with the other buildings.
39WI should like to express my sincere thanks to the donors, Lady Brigid von Preussen and her husband, for this very generous gift which will make it possible for the Centre and the School to work very closely together, to the great advantage of both, in the fight against animal disease.
