§ Mr. F. MacleanNine members of the Women's Royal Army Corps volunteered for this work. They are acting as ushers between 11.0 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. on weekdays with breaks for lunch and tea and during the afternoon. Their fares are paid and meals provided by the organisers of the exhibition and a generous contribution is made to the Women's Royal Army Corps Benevolent Fund. These arrangements, which had not previously come to my right hon. Friend's notice, were wrongly authorised because of a misunderstanding of the regulations and will not be repeated.
