§ 54. Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what further developments have taken place in respect of constitutional reforms in Sarawak; and what consultations have been, or will be, held with representative persons and bodies in Sarawak itself.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydProposals for the revision of the constitution have been fully discussed and generally accepted by representative bodies and individuals throughout Sarawak. They were incorporated in a resolution passed unanimously by the Council Negri last September. The drafting of the Constitutional Instruments to give effect to these proposals is now well advanced.
