§ 53. Mr. Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, as a means of bringing peace and tranquility to Cyprus, he will request the United Nations to conduct a plebiscite among the nationals of Cyprus on their views as to the future of Cyprus; and whether Her Majesty's Government will agree to accept the results of such a referendum.
