§ Mr. H. BrookeThe War Damage Commission shares a common staff with the Central Land Board. The estimated number engaged on war damage work at 1st April, 1956, was 800, compared with 1,650 three years ago. The administrative costs for 1955–56 were £825.000, compared with £1,314,000 for 1952–53. The estimated costs for the present financial year are £656,000.
